POSITION SUMMARY
Join the future of software development as a Mendix Developer in our quickly growing company. You should have experience as a mid-level consultant, software engineer or product manager that is able to understand complex architecture, technical and development tasks and efficiently develop, diagram, and deliver on tasks for an outstanding customer experience. You must have expertise in the Mendix Development platform. You will work from home 90% of the time and occasionally travel. Your mission is to help our clients build world class solutions and systems and applications using Low Cow / No Code tools.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and drive development for assigned client projects to completion using Low Code / No Code tools.
- Execute development tasks in the Mendix platform
- Create wireframes and data models to communicate application design
- Quality control development across the full stack
- Coordinate and liaise with UX Designers
- Communicate development progress to stakeholders
- Conduct demos to client stakeholders and internally
- Liaise with project managers to communicate status and blockers
- Work with our Technology partners to understand, execute on, and improve our best practices
- Become an expert in other Low Code / No Code platforms
- Effectively manage remote team members to meet client goals
- Be willing to accept an expanded role and more responsibility as the company grows
REQUIREMENTS
- 4 to 6 years of consulting, business process or software development experience
- 3 years of development experience with Mendix
- Must be familiar with general business process concepts such as purchasing, sales, manufacturing, finance, insurance, etc.
- Experience working on IT Projects or building SaaS Companies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work from home up to 90%, travel up to 10%
- Bachelor’s degree or minor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Decision Information Science, Business, or related program, or equivalent work experience in application development
- Knowledge of REST APIs and other integration technologies
OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS
- Held similar role in an IT focused consulting services company
- Strong understanding of data and systems
- Familiarity with common development languages such as C#, Javascript, React, React Native, Angular, Swift, PHP and etc
- Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) concepts as it relates to applications
- Certified in agile framework and associated scrum methodology
- Low Code / No Code Development experience
