ABOUT YOU

As an AWS Support Specialist, you will be responsible for offering technical support and guidance to clients or internal teams on the AWS platform. Your role will involve troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to AWS services, ensuring high availability, and optimizing performance for cloud-based applications. This position may also require you to assist with AWS cloud deployments, migrations, and maintenance tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide real-time support to customers or internal teams facing technical difficulties with AWS services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure, such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.
  • Monitor AWS environments and applications to ensure they are running efficiently and securely.
  • Assist with the planning and deployment of AWS solutions, including configuration and management of cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate AWS services into applications and software solutions.
  • Offer guidance on AWS best practices, cost optimization, and security measures.
  • Keep up-to-date with AWS updates, features, and best practices to provide knowledgeable support.
  • You may be required to be on call outside of standard working hours to address urgent support issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of AWS services, architecture, and cloud computing concepts.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking, and security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are preferred but not mandatory.
